✨ The Hands and Hearts Behind Curepaw
At Curepaw, every creation begins not with machines, but with human hands, stories, and love. Our team of three friends and artisans come from different walks of life, yet share the same belief: art has the power to heal, to honor, and to preserve the bond between people and thei
Here’s a closer look at the artists behind your keepsakes:
🌿 Erika – The Gentle Soul
- Born: 1998
- Background: Licensed Counselor, Artist
- Pets: Martini (Abyssinian cat), Cora (black cat)
Erika combines her psychology background with her love for fine arts and wool felt. She understands the quiet weight of grief and the comfort that memory can bring. With each stitch and detail, she pours empathy into her craft—transforming wool into soulful portraits that touch hearts. Inspired daily by her two cats, she is the emotional anchor of Curepaw’s creations.
🎨 Leonzo – The Craftsman
-
Born: 1994
-
Background: Electrical Engineer, Leatherworker, Oil Painter, Silversmith
-
Pets: Aperol (Saluki dog), forever remembered Figaro (Tabby cat)
Leonzo is both a maker and a dreamer. His journey with Curepaw began after the loss of his cat Figaro, which revealed to him how handmade memorials can carry love forward. With skills ranging from handmade leather to oil painting and silver craft, he ensures every Curepaw piece reflects authenticity, strength, and remembrance. His Saluki, Aperol, reminds him daily of the bond that started it all.
🌸 Sheridan – The Creative Spark
-
Born: 2001
-
Background: High School Art Teacher, Origami & Embroidery Enthusiast, Silversmith Apprentice
-
Pets: Karen (Bengal cat)
Sheridan brings a sense of patience, precision, and playful creativity. As a teacher, she’s used to guiding others through art, and at Curepaw she applies the same care to each handmade detail. Whether working with fabric, silver, or thread, Sheridan ensures that the small features—whiskers, markings, textures—are brought to life with authenticity. Her Bengal cat Karen adds inspiration (and a little mischief) to her studio days.
🎯 Why We Create
Together, Erika, Leonzo, and Sheridan form more than just a team—they form a family of makers. Every portrait, sculpture, or keepsake is touched by their shared values:
-
Authenticity – Every detail is shaped by human hands, never machines.
-
Healing – Each piece is made with the understanding that love doesn’t end with goodbye.
-
Craftsmanship – Quality, patience, and artistry guide every stitch and brushstroke.
